Your home, with support
In supported living the person holds a tenancy and buys care separately, so housing and support can change independently. It is widely used by adults with learning disabilities, autistic adults and people with mental health needs.
Two agreements, two sets of questions
Check the tenancy (rent, repairs, who else lives there) and the support agreement (hours, overnight arrangements, who chooses the staff team) separately.
Choice and control
Good supported living providers can explain how the person makes decisions about their own routine, staff and money.
